There aren't really any words that can describe just how soft these garmets feel and this softness probably made up for 85% of my reason for buying what I did. The Babe Top is the ribbed cotton collared black and cream striped crop top, and I love the tomboy-ish feel to it. The Ollie Sweater is in what they call a moss green, and is a very finely knitted jumper that I've already had too much wear out of. As you can see these two items do crease easily because of said softness, but that doesn't really bother me too much.
I really debated over purchasing the Katherine New York Cap, mainly because I'm really not a hat person - don't get me wrong I love hats, but I hardly own any and wasn't sure whether I was cool enough to pull off a baseball cap. But as a lover of New York, I hard to part ways with my cash for this, as again it is super soft and protection from the sun in summertime is essential... Sadly I can't find this cropped pale blue knitted rollneck online for it's name, but my god the fit and cut of this is SO flattering, I think it may be my favourite piece in the haul!
Although these are fairly basic pieces, everyone needs something plain in their wardrobe when it feels this soft and I'd say the pricing of everything in Brandy Melville is a fair bit lower than Topshop, so there's an added bonus. I am a size 10 and although the sizing of the printed trousers I tried on was a bit iffy, I'd say the tops/jumpers would be able to fit a UK 4-12? Admittedly this limit in sizing is a shame, but for now I am very content with my purchases.

I'm still sceptical over the 'one size fits all' claim but still desperately want to buy something from there! I've never actually tried any of their things on but oh man they are a whole new level of softness. I love the blue jumper and stripey top, everything from Brandy Melville is just so pretty

Yeah I don't think all the clothes will really fit everyone, particularly bottoms, but I'm really impressed with the tops - so maybe start there for your first purchase? It is a whole new level of softness isn't it, their clothes are so dreamy to touch haha. Glad you liked this post, thanks for stopping by :) x

Thanks Adele! I love the colour of the green too, but I think I'd call it more of a khaki than a moss green as they've described it. Aw thank you, so happy to read you like my blog :) x
DeleteI love the blue turtleneck and the green jumper. I think Brandy Melville can be a bit hit or miss, though the one size fits all concept is interesting!
ReplyDeletewww.thesundaymode.blogspot.com.au
Thanks, I think the blue turtleneck is my favourite item in this haul! This was the first time I had been in so this trip was definitely a hit haha, Yeah the concept is really interesting, I hated it when I first heard of it but some of the items did fit me nicely :) x
