My current foundation is still the ever-trustworthy MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation (shocker), this picture is of the shade NW15 but it has since run out and winter has got me on the paler shade of NW13. For concealer, I'm currently coveting the Maybelline Anti-Age Eraser Eye Concealer which is a fairly recent purchase and one I was intrigued about for a long while. I can see what the hype is about as the yellow-tones within it really cancel out the green-blue shades under and around my eyes - the only niggle I have with this is the sponge applicator, as it does feel a bit unhygienic. The Bourjois Healthy Balance Compact Powder is seriously mattifying, so for any other oily skinned gals/guys I really recommend this, but beware as a lot of excess comes off when swirling your brush around the compact.
Highlighter probably shouldn't be a necessity in your day-to-day look but I always feel so much more glowy and happier with how I look with the Mary Lou Manizer by theBalm dusted over the tops of my cheekbones. For blusher I'm still loving Soap and Glory's Love at First Blush and I am seriously surprised that I am yet to hit the pan of this. To add colour and a subtle contour into my face, I apply Soap and Glory's Solar Powder in a figure of 3 on each side of my face. As you can see mine has pretty much fallen apart, so I'm glad they've finally repackaged this in hard plastic!
I've gushed about how easy to apply and pretty the Maybelline EyeStudio Color Tattoo 24HR Gel Shadow in On and On Bronze is a fair few times on the blog, but it is an amazing shadow and so easy to blend out. Barry M's Kohl Pencil in Brown is pretty darn good for it's expectionally low price tag. The matte formula of this is natural looking and makes my lashes look a lot fuller than they actually are. I'm also still loving the Benefit They're Real but really want to try out the brand's RollerLash Mascara soon. I recently picked up the Soap and Glory Archery Brow Pencil in Hot Chocolate, and I really enjoying using it but when I'm in a real rush in the morning I'll just swipe clear mascara through my brows as I have been bleshed/cursed with big brows.
I'm still yet to find the perfect nude lipstick for me, so I'll normally just add a swipe of lip balm - but if anyone has any nude lippy recommendations please send them my way!
What makeup products are part of your daily essentials? Have you tried any of these products?

I'm so jealous that you can go out and buy Soap and Glory products, in my country it's pretty much impossible. I really want to try the bronzer!

AH no! Soap and Glory really need to sort out their international game as it's such a shame their products are only sold in certain countries. The bronzer is a really hyped about product and so worth it - I can't wait to repurchase it :) x
DeleteIt's not really a nude but a really easy to wear everyday shade I love is MAC's Patisserie :)

Ooh my housemate loves that MAC lipstick! I sadly found it to be too pale on me but I wish it wasn't as the shade is so lovely :) x
DeleteYour brows look amazing, and I'm the same as you, looking for a good nude lippy! I will tell you if I find one! Have a good Sunday,

Aw thank you so much Bethany! I have a serious love-hate relationship with my brows. Oh yes, do keep me updated on your search for a nude lippy. I'm quite tempted by Clinique's Nude Pop :) x
DeleteArchery is one of my favourite brow products too, so quick and easy to use! I really like Seventeen Mirror Shine lipstick in Beehive for a nude lippy!
ReplyDeleteDanielle's Beauty Blog

DeleteI really love all your choices here! Isn't Soap & Glory's packaging divine? Yet I don't actually own any of those little compacts - I need love at first blush! I'm with you on colour tattoo too, so pigmented!
ReplyDeleteMusings & More
Ah thanks Emily! They're packaging is so gorgeous but my old beaten up Solar Powder would say otherwise haha - so glad that they've changed repackaged it in time for my repurchase! Aw definitely try out Love at First Blush, it is so pretty and so underrated on the blogosphere. Yes it is so pigmented, definitely one of my favourite makeup products I've bought this year :) x

Aw thank you so much, I either love or hate my brows and there's no in-between when they're this bushy! Oh definitely try out their makeup. When they first brought out the makeup I was apprehensive as I always thought of them as a skincare brand, but now I seriously love both :) x
DeleteSuch a pretty and natural-looking makeup! I absolutely love your eyebrows!
