Hello, hope you are well and that you had a wonderful Christmas! I know the blogosphere love a nosey into what everyone got for Christmas and having done this post twice before, I'm not one to break tradition (if you're interested in the old editions, you can have a read here). For these posts I normally only focus on the beauty products I've luckily been gifted, but as there aren't as many this year I thought I'd do an all-rounder and cover fashion and lifestyle bits too!

I had way too much fun sorting my gifts into the above themes and my favourite by far is the pink/rose gold lot of presents. This Zara Cropped Round Neck Sweater, with a scalloped hem at the bottom, is made up of chenille and jersey but the finish is made to look like velvet - which is just dreamy in this dusty pink colour. Matching (and also from Zara) is the High Heel Velvet Ankle Boots which I now consider my new babies. Even though I loved the embroidered and velvet boots trends this season, I didn't think I'd buy a pair (believing them to be impractical), until I saw these - so now I just won't wear these when it's raining etc. My makeup brushes have been falling apart and getting lost as of late, so I was really in need of a brush set to sort myself out. Having heard nothing but praise for the affordable and gorgeous Zoeva line, I hinted at the Rose Golden Luxury Set Vol. 2 and luckily received these. This set includes 3 face brushes, including the hyped about 104 Buffer brush, 5 eye brushes and a rose gold leather pouch. I have high hopes for these gorgeously packaged brushes - so will be posting a full review shortly. The Lush Magic Wand Reusable Bubble Bar has the traditional Lush Christmas scent Snow Fairy, and when it comes to waving/swirling this powdery fragranced, glittery bubble bar around my bath, I'm sure that's exactly what I'll feel like.

I am so excited to try out my first ever Jo Malone product, the Lime, Basil and Mandarin Body Crème - this was a gift from work and everything from the gift packaging to the scent of this is so luxurious. It smells really fresh, citrusy, herby and the formula feels light and, well, creamy. I'm also really pleased with this Cream Ribbed Turtle Neck Long Sleeve Top from New Look, as I feel like it is such a versatile piece for layering. Next up is the M&S Ragdale Hall Spa Sleep Candle, which is blended with lavender, chamomile and patchouli oils and is supposed to relieve stress and help you sleep better. I'll be interested to see if this little bit of aromatherapy works, so will start trying this out when I go back to work. I am always a sucker for personalised gifts, especially when they involve palm leaves and blogging, so this personalised Papier Palm Leaves Lined Notebook really was the perfect gift for me. I'm not sure if you can see so on the front it reads "Charlotte Emily's Blog Notes", so I can't wait to start using this and get my blogging game back to where it should be. Talking of blogging, I now have my hands on blogger favourite The Little Book of Hygge: The Danish Way to Live Well by Meik Wiking. This is a lovely looking book which encourages it's readers to lead a happier, simpler lifestyle, and I can't wait to get my nose stuck into this!

Now, here comes two more items from Zara which probably wouldn't come as a surprise to you if you follow me on Instagram (@charlotte_dickson) as I am currently obsessed with pretty much everything in their stores at the moment. This is the City Bag With Charm as it is dubbed on the website, and has three compartments (big enough to fit in a laptop I may add) with a navy lining. I was in need for a new bag for work and this feels like such great quality and is the perfect size too. The Pack of Earrings were a bit of a surprise from Santa, and I am a little dubious to wear these as I only ever wear matching earrings, but these look like a great way to experiment.

In my family it's always a bit of a tradition to get new slippers for Christmas and so these are the adorable Brown Bunny Character Slippers from Next. These are super cosy and cute, and the perfect pick-me-up for winter. Next is the Lancôme The Blooming Look Hypnôse Doll Eyes Set which includes the Hypnôse Doll Eyes Mascara, a mini Le Crayon Khol in 01 Noir and a mini Bi-Facil , which si a non-oily instant eye makeup remover. I've read some incredible reviews about the Doll Eyes Mascara and it's been years and years since I've used any Lancôme Makeup Remover, so I'll be interested to see if I still like this. Christmas wouldn't be complete without a chocolate themed gift and this is The Tipsy Truffles H-Box from Hotel Chocolat. This beautiful Topshop Tile Print Pyjama Set has unfortunately all sold out online, but if you see it in store I'd definitely recommend snapping it up. The silky material is so soft and this set actually makes me feel a bit glam whilst going to bed (though on a side note I will be wearing these separately outside the house as part of the pyjama-style trend as they seem too pretty to waste just wearing them at home!). The M&S Ragdale Hall Sleep Pillow Mist is to accompany the earlier mentioned candle, and I'm so interested to see if this could be a possible dupe for the This Works' Deep Sleep Pillow Spray. And last, but by no means least, is the REN Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial. I've heard so many bloggers rave about this lil' mask and as my complexion is currently looking a bit lacklustre (and has been for the past month or so), I'm hoping this will even out my skin tone and give it some much needed rejuvenation.

Father Christmas was extremely generous this year and I am so grateful for all that my friends and family have done for me over the past 12 months!

What presents did you get this year? And have you tried out any of these? Let me know!

The Lush Christmas Collection is probably the most blogged about festive beauty collections on the block, so don't mind me as I add to the countless posts. A couple of weeks ago I popped into Lush, for just one product (Ro's Argan Body Conditioner) and naturally came out with more than I needed. So if you're on the look-out for some Lush Christmas presents or if you fancy treating yourself whilst shopping for others this festive season, read on for some mini reviews!

I first tried Ro's Argan Body Conditioner a few years ago, as it came part of the Secret Garden Christmas Gift Set when I got it for my mum and at the time I thought it was a pretty revolutionary product, and still do. When it comes to moisturising my body after showering or having a bath, I'm pretty lazy when it comes to body skincare  - which probably makes me a poor beauty blogger, right? But now that's it's winter and central heating is starting to cause havoc with my skin, I knew this would help me tackle my dry skin and still allow me to be relatively lazy. This works like a hair conditioner for your body in that you rub it into wet skin, leave it for a couple mins and then rinse it off. The formula is jam packed full of oils and butters, with anti-aging argan oil as its base and leaves the skin super soft, radiant and beyond moisturised! This is a little pot of luxury and definitely worth the £16.50 price tag.

The Ponche Shower Gel was a bit of a spontaneous purchase. When smelling it in the Oxford Street store, a shopping assistant told me that if I liked it, I should snap it up now as it was limited edition - and I didn't really need much more convincing than that. This is a fresh, fruity mix of orange juice, plum, bucho oil, and blackcurrant, spiced up with vegan tequila and cinnamon for a festive touch. I'm surprised this doesn't receive more love on the blogosphere, as it is a lovely fragrance and the cinnamon within it supposedly boosts circulation which I could always do with a bit of. It also reminds me a bit of the discontinued Flying Fox Shower Gel which I loved.

Finally we have the Snowie Bubble Bar. The usual Snowman Bubble Bar has been give a Bowie makeover this year, which is pretty cool. This is a clean, fresh fragrance made up of grapefruit, neroli oil and rose oil, and when crumbled under the warm running water, this sparkly bubble bar creates more bubbles than any other bar I've tried from Lush. I do like this, but it does irritate the skin around my chest and causes me to break out in a light rash - which was really disappointing as it smells lovely and creates so many bubbles. So this might not be one for those with sensitive skin!

Have you tried any of these products? What's your favourite festive product from Lush?
