My Current Fragrances Featuring Chloé and Chanel

27 March 2015

For a few years now I have found myself dabbling back and forth between both Chanel and Chloé fragrances, and this has mainly consisted of Chance Eau Tendre and Chloé Eau de Parfum. But last summer I was up for trying a new perfume for my summer holidays and so I picked up the See By Chloé in duty free. I never tend to change my perfumes from season to season, so I look for fragrances that can be worn all year round. Here's a little breakdown of each...

See By Chloé: I feel like this is the more grown up scents of the two and when applying it I feel as though I'm applying a layer of sophistication onto myself (because let's face it, I'm not the classiest of girls). It's fresh and fruity top notes consist of bergamot orange and apple blossom, before moving on to the floral middle notes of jasmine and ylang-ylang. The base is then a soft, musky vanilla with sandalwood accords. The glass bottle is just as elegant as the smell itself. Although I am loving this at the moment, I'm not sure I will be repurchasing it, just because at the age of 20 I don't feel quite old enough to keep pulling it off! It smells lovely though, so next time you're near a perfume stand I would really recommend spritzing this onto a paper tester.

Chanel Chance Eau Tendre: I feel like there is a reason I keep coming back to this eau de toilette, so much so I'd say that this is my signature scent. Like See, it is also a fruity-florally scent but smells a lot lighter and more delicate. These top notes are made up of grapefruit and quince with middle notes of jasmine. The base note is then white musk, which seems to round up all the perfume as a whole, giving it a very feminine feel. Because it is a fresh, delicate scent it is perfect for spring and smells a lot younger than the Chloé fragrance.

Out of the two, the Chanel  perfume is definitely my favourite - if only it came at a more purse-friendly price! Have you tried any of these perfumes? What is your current fragrance at the moment, any recommendations?
