I had been wanting to try Lush's Tea Tree Water for a while but didn't get round to buying it until late June. Since then, I have found myself reaching for this handy spray twice daily, and now I'm in need of a refill.
Tea tree seems to have endless skin benefits as it is antibacterial, antimicrobial and antiseptic, meaning that it will keep spot-causing bacteria at bay. This particular formula also contains grapefruit and juniperberry extract, which leaves skin feeling squeaky-clean and refreshed instantly. These ingredients are also anti-inflammatory, and therefore help to reduce the appearance of redness on the skin, whether that be due to spots or a pinky complexion. Having seen a massive improvement in my skin's condition after using this product, I really would recommend it to others and say that it is worth the little buzz it's creating on the beauty blogophere.
However, the formula isn't the only aspect of this product that is floating my boat - I also love the packaging. Having the water as a spray, means that you can directly spritz the formula onto your face, before swiping cotton wool over it to remove any remaining traces of cleanser or make-up, or just leave the water to soak in. The second method proved to be a saviour when I was away at T in the Park, and was a hit amongst my friends in the tent, since face-washing facilities are quite minimal at festivals.
Toning is generally a step that is easy to forget about and leave out of skincare routines, but as it can help tighten pores, cleanse the face further, target blemishes and even gently exfoliate skin, toner should definitely find a place in everyone's bathroom cabinet. Having oily and spot prone skin, this has helped sweep away excess oil and reduced the appearance of my blemishes and red areas, and this is why it is currently my favourite skincare product.
Has anyone else tried this toner? And do you think toning is worth your time?
This is one of my favorite thing's at the moment, its amazing.

Ah thank you! This is sort of a revisit to tea tree oil for me, I used to use it loads about 4/5 years ago but went off it then - but I'm so glad I gave this a go! Nuxe is a brand I've been wanting to try for a little while now and the toning lotion with rose petals sounds amazing! Rose is my favourite fragrance :) xx
